This is truly a wonderful time of year. There is so much hope and opportunity that surrounds us. The trees are budding and the tulips are peeking through the soil. The birds are chirping and the sun is shining more frequently. Have you taken a moment to really breathe deeply?
It's easy to get caught up in every day situations. But, how on earth can we be of help to others if we are not caring for ourselves? Are you eating right? Sleeping right? Are you feeding yourself spiritually? Maybe you don't think you have time to do that right now. Let me ask you this... What if tomorrow doesn't come? I'm not trying to be morbid here. Just consider the possibility for a moment. If your time on earth came to an end overnight, would all of your worries of today carry over? What is really worth holding onto? How are you impacting the world through example right at this moment? Are you hopeful or helpful? Or are you sorrowful and full of worry? Would you have the regret of not doing something you have always dreamed of accomplishing?
Before we can effectively lead others, we need to look inward. Anything that we are holding onto becomes a weight in our pocket and will hold us down subconsciously. I encourage you to take a moment, breathe, and find where you are so that you can boldly take that next step toward fulfilling your goal no matter it's size.
There's no better time than the present to spring into action.
