One of my new favorite practices is to play solitaire on the computer.  It's not because I don't have enough to do but rather, I enjoy the opportunity to see what kind of hand I am dealt. I enjoy the challenge to see how I can work through it.  The idea is to be alert but not think too hard.  I find that if I am thinking too hard, it is more difficult to seek a resolution.  This also applies to my own life experiences.  In solitaire, I can start a new game, but it always shows up in my statistics.  It is very much like life, isn't it?  If we choose not to work through our issues, we may not see it right away, but it ALWAYS shows up in our statistics at a later time.

Is this ringing a bell for you in your own experience?  What is going on in your life right now that you would like to resolve?  Is thinking harder going to change the hand in which you are dealt?  How can you change your technique to help you work through your challenge?

Even if every hand doesn't pan out how you would like, it's better to have played the game and had the experience than never to have tried.  Keep at it and sometimes you just might find a resolution in an unexpected place!!!
